The Municipality of Bologna, in an effort to promote the region, has established the DE.CO.

The acronym stands for Denominazione Comunale (Municipal Designation).

Subject to approval by a special commission, it recognizes, protects, and promotes the gastronomic flavors and traditional crafts of Bologna.

The bell ringing associations "Unione campanari Bolognesi," "Padre Stanislao Mattei," and our own "Campane in Concerto" submitted their applications and received the DE.CO. certificate on Saturday, January 10th at Palazzo Pepoli.

This recognition fills us with joy and encourages us to continue with even greater vigor in promoting manual bell ringing using the various Bolognese techniques.
